Styling

I get asked a lot from clients, “What do I wear?” I have three pieces of advice:

• Be you! If you usually are a t-shirt and jeans girl, don’t wear a prom dress, but instead wear a dressy shirt, your best jeans, and add accessories.
• Secondly, since you are hiring me because you like my style (I hope ;), bring lots of clothes and accessories so when you arrive I can grab things that I think will compliment the session.
• Last but not least, it’s all about the details! Little attention grabbers that don’t take away from your beauty is key. For instance, an emerald ring, bow earrings, a layered necklace, or a gold headband.

Remember, if these pictures are going to hang in your home for years to come, why not get your hair and make up professionally done? I know what you are thinking, “What do you think I am? Made of money!?” Well, then just call me awesome because with my sessions I include a complimentary make up artist! I also have a hair stylist that will do your hair for our session for a very small fee! You can sing my praises later! ;)
